Dr. Eric Topol is the Director of The Scripps Translational Science Institute and the Editor-in-Chief of Medscape. He has been described by GQ Magazine as one of the ‘Rockstars of Science‘ and is one of the most cited researchers of all time. Previously he has served as the Chairman of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic where he was responsible for some of the most seminal trials in interventional cardiology. His interests now span a range of topics including Genomics, Digital Medicine and Patient Advocacy. He is the author of two books: The Creative Destruction of Medicine and The Patient Will See You Now.
